The International Office invites all international newcomers to an on-site Newcomer Consultation upon arrival. During the session we will be happy to prepare your city’s registration, your long-term visa (residence permit), health Insurance, Bank account and apartment search and discuss further issues of your relocation.
Within the first days of your arrival you will take part in a short tour through the Institute, to get to know the building, the Services and facilities and get some first practical advice for your lab life. Part of the tour will be a photo session for the website which you can attend.
When signing your contract at the Personnel Department you will be handed out the access card for the institute. (Deposit €20 cash)
Upon arrival every Newcomer will need to attend a Safety Briefing. You will be informed accordingly by the Safety office.
