Marino Zerial, Director and Research Group Leader at the MPI-CBG, is a passionate biker and one of the leading scientists on the field of endocytosis. He won the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize in 2006 and just received one of the prestigious ERC Advanced Grants for his project "Rules of self-organization and reengineering of liver tissue".
